Demebaga privacy policy

Updated on 9 October 2026.

Demebaga, published by Djamma Dev (France), keeps a personal ledger. This policy says what the app collects, how, why, and who receives it.

Data collected

The app collects the phone number used to sign in, the messages you write, the names, amounts, currencies and comments you record, the photos you choose to attach, and the scheduled questions you write.

How it is collected

You enter this data in the app. The phone number is sent to Twilio or Lafrica Mobile so they can deliver the verification SMS. Twilio and Lafrica Mobile provide the same or equal protection of that phone number as this policy. Messages, transactions and schedules are stored by Google Firebase, in your account. A photo is stored in Firebase Storage.

How it is used

Demebaga uses this data to keep your ledger, to turn a message or a photo into a transaction, and to answer a question about your accounts.

Who receives it

Before the first send, the app asks permission once and names the recipients. If you allow it, message text and schedule text are sent to OpenAI, including each time a schedule runs. A photo is sent to Google Cloud Vision and the text read from it is sent to OpenAI. The photo and the saved ledger are not sent to OpenAI. Later sends are not asked again. OpenAI and Google provide the same or equal protection of this personal data as this policy. Demebaga does not sell personal data. If you decline, nothing is sent.
